So, it&#8217;s easily forgotten about!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><br>Many people might have a hard time believing that these brewers simply don&#8217;t need a lot of care. This isn&#8217;t necessarily to tell you how to clean it, since you pretty much just wipe it down. Instead, it&#8217;s\u00a0mainly going to tell you what NOT to use!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/ci4.googleusercontent.com\/proxy\/ZZoSOcfG24YRZML00LDxL-KEfHLLev2olsjHYTXQ4fikxsPD8MolRdlLH14vofWi4ZSfZbWRdXSFGg4qS-mnGE4KwguQMu0FHyzfPHOyQv8Q6ReRQToV=s0-d-e1-ft#https:\/\/www.coffeeasap.com\/assets\/images\/0\/7\/Clean-my-brewerWhat.png\" alt=\"Clean my brewerWhat\" width=\"841\" height=\"336\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Going on a&nbsp;trip that you can&#8217;t take your precious brewer with you?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><li><strong>Before<\/strong>&nbsp;storing away, remove and empty cold tank.<\/li><li><strong>After<\/strong>&nbsp;storing away for longer than one week, rinse the cold tank thoroughly and perform a HOTWATER cycle with fresh, filtered water to rinse the brewer.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Now for the fun part!!<br><\/strong>General Cleaning of Brewer<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><li>Wipe the outside of the brewer and the inside of the packet door area with a clean damp cloth.<\/li><li>Remove &amp; clean drip tray&nbsp;&#8211; shown below.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/ci5.googleusercontent.com\/proxy\/cEkyVZoAYAHPRTPR7IsWXihLf-E7SorN-qf7NKwg4o5a_MZkgmq2HoaDjiYt36wJEQ51ae467Iwv1NLpqZhzoCg0sAY0WpNN1dD0zuh-2KHdwcO-=s0-d-e1-ft#https:\/\/www.coffeeasap.com\/assets\/images\/0\/3\/driptraycleaning.png\" alt=\"driptraycleaning\" width=\"841\" height=\"240\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>All done!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>WHAT NOT TO DO\/USE!!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"has-normal-font-size\"><li>Do\u00a0<strong>NOT<\/strong>\u00a0store Freshpacks in fridge or damp environment.<\/li><li>Do\u00a0<strong>NOT<\/strong>\u00a0wash brewer with excessive amounts of water &#8211; it could get into the brewer causing a malfunction.<\/li><li>Do\u00a0<strong>NOT\u00a0<\/strong>use strong detergents or a dishwasher.<\/li><li>Do\u00a0<strong>NOT<\/strong>\u00a0apply any products that contain benzene, they may damage the surface of your brewer.<\/li><li>Do\u00a0<strong>NOT<\/strong>\u00a0clean with brushes or scouring agents as this may damage the surface of your brewer.<\/li><li>Do\u00a0<strong>NOT<\/strong>\u00a0use cleaning agents as they may leave a residue on the brewer.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Summary:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Daily care =&nbsp;<strong>NONE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Weekly =&nbsp;<strong>filling water tank &amp; emptying drip tray<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">6-12 Months (depending on use) =\u00a0<strong>change filter on C150 &amp; C200<\/strong><br><br><br><br>Hope this helps!<br><br><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.coffeeasap.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">CoffeeASAP.com<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I know I don&#8217;t touch base on this topic that often (or at all) because well, let&#8217;s be honest,\u00a0Flavia brewers are known for not needing daily cleaning\u00a0and almost no weekly cleaning.
